With Speedwell sold and the survey completed all that remained was a sea trial with the new owners.
The forecast was for rain and strong winds but the morning turned out to just be grey with a moderate breeze. We set off from Fox's marina for a short sail down the river to show the engine running and get the sails up and down. After motoring down towards Wolverstone while checking out the genoa and mizzen we turned around and headed back up river and raised the main sail. Andy went through the boat's systems with Martin while Helen avoided running aground while accidentally missing one of the channel marks.
Everything was in order so we headed back in to Fox's marina to tie Speedwell up for the last time in our ownership.
