8th April (Easter Sunday)
Post winter maintenance shake down sail with old sails (sadly) and new instruments. New mainsail on its way. New propeller worked well. We took the boat up as far as Mistley but then turned round and sailed back as we didn't fancy mooring up against the wall. It was a glorious sail, as we were able to get rid of some of the stress of having builders in the house for 2 months and planning a wedding. Not likely to get out for a sail for a while now as we are getting married next weekend and then going to on a non nautical honeymoon.
