We left Canna, just before Supertramp of Dart hit us as we swung round on our anchors. We left with another boat, Bolero II, who were initially headed south. However, they changed their minds and decided that, rather than fighting the wind they would go north as well. We headed toward the south west of Skye sailing all the way. We had the pleasure of dolphins for company for a while and Andy watched them from the bow. We entered Loch Harport still under sail with The Red and Black Cuillins on our nose. We finally dug in our anchor by the Talisker Distillery, avoiding the mooring buoys.
We rowed ashore for milk and whisky and a quick pint at the Inn, where we met Gill, Ryan and their dog Daisy, who had been in the harbour at Canna. After supper we were invited on board their Westerly Fulmar, Bolero II. They then towed us back to our boat for a coffee.
