We headed back to Dingle Marina as previously planned, having booked cinema tickets last time we were in Dingle. The people in the cinema clearly thought we were mad and assured us it wasn't necessary to book quite so far in advance. However, since they only have one showing a week, we didn't want to risk not getting a seat.
We managed a relaxing sail across the bay as we had given ourselves plenty of time to get to Dingle. We were able to deliver some laundry, pick up groceries and fill up with water, in preparation for a visit from our friends Anita and Gerry. We had promised them warm sunny weather with gin and tonics in the cockpit every night!
The film showing was "Maggie's Plan". We arrived in good time as advised, to get a seat together. We ended up being the first to arrive and felt rather self conscious. However, the man at the counter remembered us and others soon turned up. There was complimentary coffee available at the front and it was a lovely cinema.
Anita and Gerry arrived the following day after a marathon drive from Cambridge via Fishguard and Rosslare. It was raining when they arrived.
