By the time we left today at 1025 the fog had cleared, although we couldn't see much of Rum or Eigg any more. We were able to wave goodbye to the seals and headed through the Sound of Rum slowly sailing.
SEALS GALLANACH BAY
We rounded the south end of Skye and entered Loch Nevis where we picked up a buoy at Inverie. We had booked a table at the remotest pub in Britain, The Old Forge. We had showers on the boat (a rare treat) and put on clean clothes. We now only change our clothes occasionally as we hate doing the laundry! We ate a lovely meal and I made a mess with a huge plate of langoustines.
