With stormy weather in the forecast for the next few days we decided to leave our anchorage and head into the nearby Chipiona marina for a few nights. It ended up being more than a few nights. However, the coffee and tapas were cheap and we discovered Sanlucar Barrameda which is one of the corners of the sherry triangle. The local speciality is Manzanilla, though they also do a very good Amontillado. The buses were frequent and there was a great cycle ride along the Via Verde.
Despite some strong wind and rain washing jelly fish onto the beach, spring is definitely coming. The birds and insects are flirting and the flowers flowering.
